Global Legacy: The Company's Journey

The origin of MARTICO was the result of the vision of its founder, Mr. Peter Abraham Monsma. Mr. Monsma established two shipping agencies, MARTICO Bilbao in 1973 and later MARTICO Valencia in 1986. He inspired in both sister companies a strong commitment to excellent service and it has been reflected both in the company's ability to constantly modernize and reinvent itself, and in the workforce that defines it.

Undoubtedly, these core values have accompanied us throughout the transformation of MARTICO from a local maritime company to a world leader in transport, MARTICO REEFER SOLUTIONS.

Local Impact: Our Own Story

Martico Romania was established in the city of Constanta in 2020, as part of the global expansion plan, during the pandemic. Despite the challenging circumstances, we have continued to develop and grow, thanks to the dedicated team of professionals within the company.

Martico Romania is a shipping company that offers maritime, road and air transport services, also offering other logistics services. Our main office was opened in the city of Constanța, and in 2023, we expanded our operations by adding the road transport department in Timișoara.

We owe our success to our incredible team, loyal customers and trusted partners, who have been the foundation of our journey and we look forward to many years of shared success.
